killer looks

Munich: In the aftermath of the tragic slaying of eleven Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics, a secret band of highly trained agents is formed to track down and kill the men responsible for the murders. As their mission unfolds, its repercussions begin to take a psychic toll on Avner, the group's leader.
Astounding performance by leading man Eric Bana. His piercing eyes stay with you throughout as he goes down the torturous path of the mastermind seeking revenge on the terrorists. Each kill is a treat to watch, and every single character is masterfully put together. I would watch this film more for its performances than anything else. I still preferred Crash, and Brokeback to it in terms of entire packages. One thing it does manage to do is switch scenarios artfully, from english to french to middle eastern... Interesting!!

are you reviewing movies for some publication? or do you suddenly have too much free time to watch and critique so many movies?
ps: i guess i am just envious as the last movie i saw in a theatre was about three years ago just before yudhi was born...on TV..hmm..even that has been a long time. although i did see four movies [now what were these? Prime, Derailed, Terminator 1- which i had never seen till then, and a silly comedy with dennis quaid and renne russo]. i saw all these on a non stop flight to LA the week before. on the way back, i spent 14 of the 18 hours sleeping! after reading about refusal of yoru US visa, I was shocked to get a 10-year multiple visa. my passport expires in five years...

You are absolutely right! Eric Bana is awesome in Munich. Crash and Munich were two of my favorite movies at the Oscars. I am disappointed that Eric Bana did not get nominated for his role as Avner.
